Scripture reminds us that God’s people are called to “rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.” In a world where empathy is in decline, followers of Jesus are people who feel with others — and let that compassion move us to action. This sermon explores how empathy, grounded in Christ’s transforming grace, guides us to live Jesus’ better way more deeply.

This summer, our FUMC youth traveled to Oljato, Utah, and Dulac, Louisiana, to put their faith into action. From pouring concrete, completing repair projects and painting, to leading Vacation Bible Schools for local children, they served with open hearts and willing hands. Watch how God worked through their efforts to improve facilities, strengthen communities, and share His love across state lines.
