Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction is both an ancient and current ministry of the Christian Church. In the United Methodist tradition, the foundation for spiritual direction was laid by founding father, John Wesley. Wesley believed the most important question we must ask and answer is: How is it with your soul? How is your relationship with God? Spiritual direction offers the time and space for exploring and deepening your relationship with God through the guidance and work of the Holy Spirit.

United Women in Faith

United Women in Faith is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders, and advocating for justice. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children, and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world. FUMC has three UWF circles: The Robinson Circle meetings on the first Monday of each month, the Brown Circle meets on the third Monday, and the Lowry-Woodfin Circle meets on the third Tuesday.
